Hey folks, I had to reboot the server five times this afternoon and every time the problem was that the database gets locked up due to the size of the Anything Goes and Whipping Post forums. I had to do something, so I created fresh new ones, and moved the old ones to "General Chat - Archive" at the bottom of the main forum index. These are read-only - no further posting can be done, but everything is there so you can browse, search, read it etc. It's way to early to tell but so far the load on the server is dramatically reduced. I'm really hoping this takes care of it. Best, Rowland
