I was sitting here reminiscing about this weekend and thought I would share a nice thing I heard at a party over at my friend, John Griffins house. David Wyatt was there and it sure was good to talk with him. Makes you relax, with just the tone of his voice. Sister Judy, was there and doing her thing. She helped John put the party together and made sure everyone was taken care of. Of course there were other ladies there helping out also. Trouble is I remember a lot of faces but have trouble with the names. Like this person I know named Sebring, and I cant, remember his last name. Known him for years. I will call him a friend. A Marine from the past. Judy or David will have to supply the last names for the people I am going to talk about. Sebring read some of his poems for about ten minutes or so, then a lady named Heather played and sang. Good voice and sweet high tones, Like the Blue Grass ladies. Not as strong as the lady that followed her, Miss Caroline Akens. Powerful performer. I must be honest and say Sebring touched me with his poem, Simper Fi. Sebring writes his poems in short story form. This poem was about a man that was drunk and all messed up trying to call everybody he knew in the world and some twice, at the we hours of the morning. Nobody willing to talk, at that time of the morning. So he calls the Marine Corps. Man at the other end answers with his military rap and the guy starts talking and the officer at the other end said, you are drunk, The man replied he was a Marine, the instant reply was, are you all right. Do you need help. Now this still touches me when I think about it. It makes my eyes water. I had to look down when Sebring read that part, as my face was wrinkling up and I had to fight back the runny eyes. Sebring can write. He can touch you with words, I think the best part was listening to him read. The way he pronounced his words. The way he put his sentences together. Just reaches out and crabs you. A lot of people can do that, but they can't hold you. My man Sebring can. Hats off to you my brother. Simper Fi. A Marine Is Always Faithful. With that said Rob, hemlock if you need help I am hear. Let me help you with the golf story. You got in touch with me on my guest book and ask me to play golf. I asked right up front are you treating. You said yes, and ask me to come down and play the Gator, which is where Dickey plays and I had played there before. I knew the price was high. that was why I asked you if you were treating. You were all fired up to let me know you were a member there. Now you are all fired up because the real truth comes out. But as a good Marine I will ask you. Are you all right. Do you need help? I am here to help you release the Demons. Going by your post, and the words you used, tells me you need alittle help. You are letting ill-feeling come out. Not good for the soul I feel good, I reached out and have tried to touch someone. Smile and you to; can release the DEMONS.
