Sub standard medical for veterans is a disgrace. They should recieve the best care in the country, bar none. The medical area I know about, Hepatitis C, has a huge hole in treatment availability. Poor people can qulify for treatment assistance. People with their own insurance can qualify. The middle ground, self employed, or people with little or no insurance but yet are not unemployed, these are the ones that are screwed. There are vast legions of people walking around waiting to see if the Hep will kill them, and there is no way they can save $25,000 for TX. Yet we spend trillions on the military death machine to kill people efficiently while we have such an innefficient way to kill them by denying medical treatment here at home. How is this musically related? There are many, many musicians with Hep C and no insurance. It is our industries dirty little secret.
