Personally, I was digging the conditions the game was played in. It sure kept one on the toes as we say. Hits were hard and the ball was wet. Hard to hold on to. Hard to throw. Makes for the cream to rise to the top. Like O. J. running in the snow. No matter what happened to him after football, one still has to say that was a show. Footing in this game made it all equal and as hard as it is to take for the people of Chi Town, the Bears just got beat by a better team. Notice the word team. That is what it is all about.
Tar Hells lost to NCS Sat. Bummer.
I heard that brother Bud Snyder had to have heart surgery. Sure hope he is doing better. Also I heard that the great receiver of the New York Giants Johnny Perkins, played in the early eighties, is in a coma from heart surgery, down in Grand Berry, Texas. Two of my friends on a bumpy road. May the good spirit of the hound hang with you. Got you guys in my head. A few names going through my head this morning. Duane, Berry, Twiggs, Lamar, Buford, Woody, and Jo Dan. The tree of life sheds and grows a new. Of course if the polar caps shift, There will be a lot of shedding and a lot of new growth also. More than likely the new will take many years to take hold.
