Real good, Dan.....actually been home now for over a week for the first time since I moved into my house in August. Didn't meet my next door neighbor until December. 2 weeks ago I was in Chicago (saw GAF and hung out with the Chicago crew-also made a new friend : ) ) then continued on to San Antonio for our national sales meeting for 4 days and then wound it up in Austin, maybe the coolest music town in the world, Saw Bobby Whitlock in a little club-his second set was broadcast over the radio-he still sounds fantastic and looks great, sang a lot of Layla tunes; and Jon Dee Graham was the main act, great singer-songwriter-guitar player who was in the True Believers with Alejandro Escovedo back in the day. Fantastic performer. The next night at Antone's I saw Billy Joe Shaver and Ray Wylie Hubbard (Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother). Talk about Redneck Rock-BJS was great but RWH blew the roof off the place. To complete the Clapton connection his drummer was Jamie Oldaker who played on all of EC's '70s records. Then I caught the first flight out of San Antone the next morning so I could get back in time to watch Da Bears beat the Saints. I had scheduled my return flight during the game and that wouldn't do so luckily I got on as a standby in SA and also my connecting flight in Dallas. Needless to say I passed out during Indy's great comeback. I was dead to the world. I leave two weeks from tomorrow for Tokyo, so The Road Indeed Does Go On Forever....
