Hello evryone, I had to catch up this a.m. as I was out of touch yesterday being deposed by lawyers in expensive suits for over 6 hours on a case that doesn't concern me at all...fun.
Anyway I'll try to be brief
OldCoot... I'm actually a Georgia boy transplanted (they still want to know where Jimmy has gone). But after living in Kansas for 11 years it is a mystery to me why they don't spell it ARKINSAW. I'm sure if I had some Chow Chow I wouldn't care.
Happy Birthday everybody! I think Birthday boys & girls should be entitled to have a wish list of 2 or 3 shows posted. I bet in addition to all the great birthday greetings their wishes would be granted because let's face it... There are a lot of good generous people around here. AANNDD I do have a birthday coming up in about 3 wks so we will want to implement this right away!
Very late on this one but a couple of weeks ago there was some talk about the lack of accoustic sets with this line up and someone mentioned never seeing DT play accoustic. I just got a copy of a show I was at in KC on 6-19-99. (It came from Ecuador Thanks a bunch Hans). Anyway This was my first show with Derek and I had forgotten that they did Melissa and Seven Turns on accoustic guitars and it sounds great! That was DB, DT, GA & OB of course but we all know Warren can handle a hollow guitar so I suspect somewhere down the road we will get more of that. I hope. Sometimes I really get into a drum solo (preferably not on IMOER). But I would trade a drum solo for an accoustic set almost every time.
Your milage may vary. I don't remember who said that all the time but I borrowed it.
OH and I can't stop listeneing to Old Before My Time and High Cost Of Low Living. These are GREAT tunes.
Butch we still need lyrics for High Cost, Though I haven't looked to see if they are listed where the others are. I ll go do that now. BYE.
