Thanks so much for the kind birthday wishes. It means so much to me. I had a very nice day. Mom was here, as were Brian and Jessica. Marsha cooked a delicious dinner with ham, black eyed peas, yams, and more. I still have apple pie waiting..... There is so much to be thankful for. Three years ago, I didn't think Mom was going to be around much longer. I know your prayers and good wishes helped pull her through. Another thing I am so thankful for is the friendships I have made here, thanks to Lana and Rowland. I think of you all, despite my poor letterwriting skills. I am so glad Marsha surprised me with Beacon tickets back in '02. Thanks again.
