Yes Lana, Good luck to Bob! Clear Chanel is way too big for their britches and way too slick to boot. Down here in Miami they own I think about six or eight stations, maybe more. Oh yeah, their "Classic Rock" stations have the "cool" sounding DJ's who are designed to sound like your friend, but when push comes to shove all it really is, is just another top 40 station. What they do is play the same songs day in day out. They put together a play list of about.... 40 - 45 songs and that's what they feed you..... until you realize what they are really doing is shoving it directly up your keester, day in day out. "Market research shows....." Market research can light their gasious expellants with a butane lighter!!! :yep: :yep: Growing up in N.J. I had the great advantage of living in a time and place where we had, not one, but two progressive radio stations right next door in NYC, WNEW and WPLJ, plus the Filmore East to augment the scene. Here the DJ's could play whatever they wanted at any given time. They may play the live version of Whippin' Post and follow it with On and On by Ginya Ravon and follow that with Dr. Hook's "On the cover of the Rolling Stone"...... none of which would ever be heard on the top 40 radio stations. Today Clear Chanel is looking but just not finding the answer, dispite buying out about 600 radio stations nation wide. More people every day are listening to satalite radio or internet radio stations, such as our very own "Radio Hittin' The Web" courtisy of Lana and Rowland Archer!!! :mohawk: :mohawk: :mohawk:
