I fully agree Blue Dad!!!! Funny you mention it, too. Last evening I went out to the Redlands to the Road Runner and sat in with my old pals, Tommy Potter's Friends. Most of these guys also play in The Card Sound Machine, who've been playing at Alabama Jack's, an institution in the North Key Largo hamlet of Card Sound (Population 6 ) 😆 :lol2:  on the alternate route to Key Largo, Card Sound Rd. A place that's been imortalized in many publications (Jimmy Buffett for one) and in movies, if that helps locate the place for some. They've been playing there for over 20 years so if you were ever there and saw the Country & Western band, that was them 😉 Anyway, I'm talking to the pedal steel player, Jimbo Ramsey before the gig at the bar, Merry Christmas and all that when Guitarist Jeff Peeler walks up with a Grinch T shirt. And he says: "I HATE Christmas!!! Don't wish me a Merry Christmas!!" I know Jeff and I knew he wasn't kidding. We got to talking about it and Jeff, who's a great guy, by the way, started saying that it's a combination of reasons he hates Christmas. The first is the comercial exploitation of Christmas and the real meaning cast aside. The second was that so many people get into the right spirit for the month of December, but then once Christmas has come and gone, they revert to being A/H's again for the remaining 11 months!!!! Just like Blue Dad says, Live life like everyday was Christmas! I always thought that Scrooge got a bum steer. Here was a guy who completely reformed and did live his life with Christmas in his heart every day, from that Christmas Eve onwards. Yet, he's always remembered for being the crotchity meiser. But in the end, Ebaneezer became a wonderful human being. If he can do it, anybody can. As far as people in the story, I see myself pretty closley aleigned with Old Fezziwig 😆 :lol2: Merry Christmas everyone!
