My heart is heavey but my knees are strong, sincere prayers and love to Gary and family... Gary, i have to tell you this...I know others that know you can relate... The last time Kevin and I were in NY, we were lost in a cloud of grief. We were out on the street, must have been the wee early morning hours, long before dawn, and Im sure we were very vulnerable. Still are. I remember walking aimlessly, and the truth is, we probably didnt know if we were coming or going... Dickey had did what he could, God bless him..but our pain was more intense than a song could heal. Out of the fog came an outstretched hand...a gentle face.....You were leaning down, so as not to be intimidating...looked straight into our misted eyes.."Hi, Im Gary..you must be Kevin and Carol McDonald"... Im not sure how you recognized us, if our Leah Marie or beautiful Jeannie ..maybe Jody-girl had pointed us out..but there you were...insisting you walk us to our van... You never thought of yourself, but loaded our arms with all kinds of tunes for the road....our hearts with your friendship.... In a few ,brief moments, you made life-long friends... May the Guardian Angel that sent you to us on that hopeless night, be at your boys side now. We love and respect you and yours, with all our heart....
