Out of lurk to comment.... Reflection of the last week, what can I learn from stuff I wish I could redo? I have thoughts, but hindsight is ya know..... Negativity? I thought about that. Maybe it is too handy to judge someone as negative. What is the root of anger? Hurt or feeling helpless. About what? A burden of some sort usually. Is someone negative, or are they in a sad outlook? Words we judge and the feelings they come from are far removed from the words. Suck it up and throw kindness back, if nothing else it confuses 'em 🙂 This is a year of reflection for me on the holiday situation. And what keeps coming back to me is the thought of forgiveness. Not me granting it in some royal kingly way to them that need it, haha..... no, the opposite, me just asking it to the wind..... and let the bad go..... I need forgiveness for soso parenting, halfass actions as a resident human, poor behavior in relationships, rotten driving at times, anger, being pompous, being judgemental, and just being a big pain in the *ss..... But you have to let it go with the wind too. And for Christ sake, lets forgive here too. Take down that fence where we cordon off the negative herd...... take off them sticky labels we slap on the backs of the resident Negativers, that say, kick me, I'm negative. I see holidays..... I see families with factions that don't talk..... I see the family here with the same..... I see we all need forgiveness and the Holidays is like a get out of jail card on that deal....... Forgiveness is like in the spirit of it...... give it..... take it..... pass it around. And I beg it of the couple (ok a few?) I disrespected here, as a start........ And I know Speedo sometimes can't stand it and reads...... so in hoping he has put that dobro down for a spell, I need to tell you pal..... At the Dairy Dip, your favorite Skate Waitress finally threw the towel in on you buddy..... Tootsie said to tell that lamebutt Speedo that he ain't licking the soft ice cream nomo......... teach him to go MIA.....
