You make an excellent point Bird, regarding Zoning and Planning boards.
Developers in certain areas do have tunnel vision in regard to the acreage and will try to put up as many dwellings as they think they can sell in order to recoup their expenditures with less regard for the ‘natural’ setting. This is where P&Z needs to step up and the community needs to voice their disapproval and put pressure on the committee. If over development and improper planning is an issue in the area, residents need to go to the meetings and hearings when proposals for new expansions are filed. Listings are almost always in the classified section of the paper.
