If you think the Fair Tax isn't fair to low income people, you don't understand the prebate component. It would be a boom to the economy and low income people included. However, you will hear over & over that it will not be fair mostly because all the HIGH PAID lobbyist will be out of work so they fight against it (they are fighting it!). Book won't take you more than 2-3 evenings to read. It's short because it is not a complicated plan....
