According to today's NY Daily News, the Beacon Theatre is in negotiations with the Dolan family(make that read "CABLEVISION") to take over theatre mgmt.Anyone not familiar with the Dolans', they own Madison Sq. Garden, Radio City,Paramount theatre,the Knicks and the Rangers.If this does happen, look for increased tix prices and upgraded security.The Dolans' have already squashed a NYC stadium proposal and wield more power than they should in NYC politics and economy.A sad day indeed...
