OK...starting to think about next year. We have a situation that needs feedback, I'll put up a Forum thread. Here's the bigger picture: Bands like the Hugh Gaskins Band and the Bobby Purify Band travelled a great distance at personal expense to participate, doesn't seem quite right. There's also the fact that the crew/staff worked from 1 PM to 2 AM without a break to eat, run by the house, whatever, and there was no time to restock ice, mixers, etc. Would we like to do something like afternoon jams on Fri. and Sat., say like from 1 to 5:30? Let them close till say 7, have paying shows at night so all the acts can at least get plane fare? Do we want to expand to 3 days with a format like this? As always, the Skydogs should close Sat. night, IMHO, and I haven't run this by Brent yet. Just wanted input from our family here. I'll go over to the Forum with this.
