Hung for quite a while last night with Hasijda, Bluedad, SkydogSys, and SPDB, much talk of Lefty, some personal reflections on our lives and the music that brought us to give a damn about each other, how it all began.
My first motel jam....
4 electric guitars, 4 amplifiers, in a motel room. Couldn't stay long, 3 little Allman Brothers songs (about an hour). Long enough to know Barry Zion IS Dickey Betts.
As I left, final words of the man who caused such a diverse group of quality souls to want to come to this little outpost.
We're going to have great fun this weekend, because we can and because fun is good.
Next week--I don't have a clue. I have today.
