Jorma(Hot Tuna guitarist and owner of the Fur Peace Ranch In Ohio(guitar camp) met with Derek Trucks in New York Aug 22nd and played music on Good Day New York. Jorma is a great finger style guitar player who started the Jefferson Airplane in San Francisco. His guitar camp is great. I took lessons from Jack Casady(bass Player) and had a blast in Ohio where the camp is located. Jorma has been on tour playing old tyme acoustic music supporting his new cd. "Blue Country Heart". It has Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, etc. Hope some of you saw the tour. Fantastic. Now if we may get Derek to teach a class at Jorma's guitar ranch. Off to see the Who 2nd row Sunday in INDY.
