Yeah, John, "Forrest Gump" (the book) bears little resemblance to "Forrest Gump" (the movie), although I loved both of them. In paritcular, the character of Jenny was vastly different, I thought. Hey, great news about my friend Kelly's father Joe. He came through the operation with flying colors and is resting comfortably. Well, actually, he is unconscious, as I imagine I would want to be after open heart surgery. But he will be fine, thanks in no small part to the positive vibes we all sent him. Kelly was touched and wanted me to thank y'all for the support. She used to post from time to time on the old Guest Book (pre-fax days) as Purple Peach, maybe some of you remember her. Happy trails to everyone headin' to Tobacco Road this weekend, and let's not scrimp on the reviews come Monday, y'hear? :beer:
