Butch Trucks, drummer for the Allman Brothers Band, was in town Tuesday for a series of meetings with local venture capitalists, looking for investors in an online music project he's working on.
After a lunch with some potential investors at the Palm (200 S. Broad), Trucks and project coordinator Donna Gentile O'Donnellheaded over to Manayunk's Grape Street (4100 Main) to check out jam band Fat City Reprise. There, Trucks was recognized by Allman fans and was glad to chat with them."
I wonder if Walker was one of the fans he talked to......Brotherhood fo the Grape plays there all the time!
