Hey maximule: Got to agree, the only thing I would do is expand the list to add folks like Les Paul and Hendrix and folks lilke that. But I do have a question to throw out there. For those who have actually heard Mark Kimbrell play, just how good do you think he is? I ask this because I am totally into what he plays and personally, I think for a couple of unknowns, Mark Kimbrell and Rick Kurtz are about as good as anyone, including Warren-level players. These 2 are just basically unknown. Mark "speaks" with his guitar much like Betts. Rick is simply damn good all around and has great style and tone. He sat in with the Brothers in Birmingham, oh around 1999 or '98 perhaps. And I dont honestly remember why he got the invite to begin with.
