Red Dog, I agree. I think this is going to help Derek draw more listeners from Claptons fan base, and at the same time, give him some inspiration the same way Duane was inspired by Clapton, and in 1970, Duane obviously inspired, and perhaps even intimidated, Clapton a little bit, without it becoming competative. It's good for both of them to play together. Clapton is the older, more established star with great, but predictable chops, and Derek is experienced beyond his years, yet can still learn from one of the true masters, while inspiring the master to new heights.
