Give credit where credit is due: TUNES posted this over at Dickey's site and I felt it hit home for me!!!! 😆 :lol2: :laugh: --------------------------------------------- Five surgeons are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on. The first surgeon says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table,because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered." The second responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded." The third surgeon says, "No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order." The fourth surgeon chimes in: "You know, I like construction workers...those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end, and when the job takes longer than you said it would." But the fifth surgeon shut them all up when he observed: "You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and the ass are interchangeable." _____________________________ Meanwhile, down here in Cutler Bay, yesterday and today were great garden days! About a year and a half ago Gigi planted two Queen Palms in the back yard. She bought them for $6.00 each and they were about four feet high. Today they're pushing 20!!! 😮 😮 We had a Hawaiian franjapany already... since we've added all sorts of plants, bananas, avacados, pine apple, Mexican Heathers, Desert Roses, Basil, Tangerine, Orange, Key Lime trees, .. the list goes on and on. A few bird feeders. A bird bath. All kinds of butterfly plants.... Gigi did some research and found that if you are able to meet a certain standard, your backyard can be certified as a National Wildlife Refuge!!! 😮 😮 😮 We're aiming for that. We're lucky because we have two dogs and dogs are okay. We used to have a cat, Simon, but he passed on a couple of years ago at age 19. You can't be certified if there is a cat living on the property. Birds & butterflies are just fine intheir book. And the dog is no problem.
