Sorry Bird, the Sweetiefest isn’t over yet, one more post on the topic….
I had to read back several pages to find out what the big brew was all about….that’s what I get for not keeping up with the GB. You snooze you miss all the chatter, but that’s why I quit reading the GB all the time in the first place….too much negativity, personal grievances and hate flying back and forth. Seems to happen over in the Forum at times as well. Anyhow….
Lefty is correct, the Sweeties certainly don’t need any defending. None of them have done anything that would need defense. Since when do friendly dispositions, sincerity and positive attitudes need defense? The issue lies with the person who is offended by their upbeat and cheerful nature. I will only add to the genial statements that have already been made.
The very first person I met from this site was a Sweetie. I had only been here for a few weeks, didn’t know anyone and barely knew how to navigate the site. She offered her assistance, burned a disc for me and then invited me to join the partying peaches at the Beacon. A short time later, I peeked through the doorway at the party room and met her, the rest of the Sweeties and many other people that are so dear to me from this site through her act of kindness. This however, is not the only ‘random acts of kindness’ tale I could relay about these ladies, just the first. :winky: Wink to Jax.
Instead of being put-off by their enthusiasm, maybe those that are disenchanted by it could welcome their light-hearted humor and lively spirits and accept their hospitality.
Big hearts are easy to fill.
