To everyone today, remember and embrace life. On 9/11/01, I was on the George Washington bridge in traffic going to an interview in the city when the first tower collapsed. It is a vision I will never forget. I was listening to 1010 Wins and they were interviewing a woman downtown when she began screaming. I turned south toward the Towers and saw 2 WTC go down. Insanity that day. Went into Manhattan, crossed into the bronx and back tracked back home. Went down to the city the next day to try and volunteer but they were turning people away because of so many people trying to help. I will never forget the smell of gas fuel, smoke and dust. I was at least 20 blocks from the WTC but the smell was as if I was around the corner. The next few weeks in NYC was probably an experience and vibe that will never be replecated. I have never felt so much love and closeness to every person I ran into in NYC in my life. It truely was amazing. To all the men and women who persihed that day, and to everyone who lived through that day,I salute you and send positive vibes to all families invloved. Peace.
