The day is remembered & quietly kept, No words are needed, we shall never forget. For those we love don't go away, They walk beside us, everyday. Unseen & unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed & so very dear. My thoughts & prayers for those in need. Life is as fragile as a butterfly's wing. Linnie, I'm so glad you're alright. My deepest condolences to Janice , her family & friends. We just had that happen here to a long time friend of mine. He lost his only child, his son, to an overdose. It's a ripple effect that effects absolutely everyone in the circle. Savannah, so sorry to read about your friend, Jeff. It's cliche, I know, & won't ease your pain, but try to remember, he's free & in no pain now. Tonight I'm reaching out for some positive healing vibes myself. I've waited until I knew for sure what was going on before posting. I'm having surgery on my left leg Friday afternoon. They're going to remove a benign (key word there!! benign!!) bone tumor off of the fibula, right above my ankle & do a bone graft. It's been causing a lot of pain when walking. Biggest pain was not being able to make the Hotlanta show. 🙁 (Actually I wouldn't have made it anyway due to the vacation from hell, starting with car trouble before I even made it out of TN., but that's another story.) My niece is driving me up to Indy & we'll be back home that evening. I'll be staying at her house until Chris can come pick me up Sat. morning. I've been off work for 2 weeks & the Dr. said 'at least' 8 weeks recovery. On the bright side, the waiting is over, Chris installed my new CD burner & my computer chair has wheels. 🙂 I'm hoping the crutches don't get the best of me. I'm not very good with them. The having to stay home part is probably going to be the worst part being the independent heifer that I am. I hope that I'll be ambulatory by the end of the month to at least make it to Gadsden for the fest & the MBB gig. I'm not sure about GABBA, mostly financially but I'm hoping for the best. Should be good to go for JFD even if I have to sleep in the parking lot. :lol2: So I'm off to bed, I'll check in with y'all in a couple days & give you the 411. PeaceNLove, Carole
