Good show at the Rosemont Theater last night, however I heard a lot of complaints about the venue (i.e. - security, no drinks in seating area) from others standing around me. There were some problems with the p.a. (at least on Oteil's side) which was causing Warren's guitar to occasionally get louder and other times cut out in the mix. The same thing happened with Gregg's acoustic. I thought the setlist was better than Green Bay's and their playing was also more inspired. One thing I will never agree with and cannot get used to is having 1 soloist on Dreams. Whether it was Duane & Dickey, Warren & Dickey, Jack & Dickey, Derek & Dickey, or Warren and Derek a few years ago, I always enjoyed the contrast of the 2 solos coming from different angles with different tones. The whole "hand off" during the soloing was a major turning point in the song which took it in another direction. Am I the only person who prefers the historical arrangement?
