Atlanta was a near perfect 27 hour spree. Traveling down I-85 had little interruption (surprisingly). Great lunch at J. Alexander's near Norcross. Nice afternoon interlude before heading to Lakewood ( first concert there ) The rain and storm slowed our arrival and we were late to DTB but what we got was excellent. Mrs. Icepick has become quite a Derek fan and I can thank him for being her catalyst to "get it" Prompt start to the ABB set after saying hello to Rusty and his wife for the 1st time. Also made acquaintence w/ Bluedad for the 1st time as well. Because of this site it seemed I've known them my whole life. I was so afraid the MJ intro was a tease and pleaded for them to bring it on and did they ever. Would have loved another hour but who could have asked for more! Back to the hotel safely after a successful search for late night munchies from Fellini's with evening ending red wine. Sleep late Mon am, quick breakfast and shopping for the Mrs. and back in G'ville in time to open for business that afternoon. Now for NYE! See you there if the stars line up properly!
