Incredible happy weekend of music and friends.....tonight's show was a "Beacon" show, IMHO....band just went nuts....this is the best band there has ever been....whole center section never sat down....crowd totally into it from the get-go. Packed despite the rain....don't know if anybody has mentioned Kofi sneaking onstage during Otiel's MJ solo, doing a duet with him, and a big ol' hug at the end (they looked like us!) Musta' been over a thousand in the Instant Live line, we saw 2 blocks worth, couldn't see the end. Oh--and y'all shoulda' seen the look on Skyponydogboy's face!! Quote of the weekend, from Donna Blythe, at the Waffle House this morning, shaking her head with a wry smile, "I hope the Brothers play Whipping Post tonight. But if they play it the best they ever have, won't be as good as the one last night. Love the family here, thanks for letting me be a part. I am having a blast! More when I recover. EAPFP
