Afternoon folks,
Good reports from the doc today. Lynn had his cumbersome plaster cast removed today, hand is healing well and nerve damage is very minimal. The pin they put in his baby finger of course limits its' use but he is able to move it somewhat. He went from the surgeon's office today over to physio where they put on a lightweight splinter. He'll eventually have to get the pin removed (3-4 wks) so looks like he'll be off work for that same time in his current situation. Depending on his healing process (which they said is incredible today) he might be off a few more months.
Lynn's spirits are excellent and he seems to be coping with having to or at least trying to behave himself. Colei caught him trying to meddle with his riding mower yesterday and we found out he also drove to the dealership to get the part for it. The kids were on dad alert while I went to work....sheesh, do men ever stop trying to be mischievous little boys....;)
In our little world...life is great and I must thank you all again as I know the collective prayers, thoughts and love from all of you helped tremendously in Lynn's (continued)healing.
Ya'll a great bunch.....:squeeze:
Later, Karen & Lynn
