Doctors DO get a 'taste' on what drugs the prescribe.....i work in and out of doctors offices all day, and i love it because the pharm reps are always bringing in free lunches for the whole staff......and everyone knows that a fed I.T. girl is a happy I.T. girl........... One of the doctors did tell me once that it used to be 'alot better' and that they would fly doctors to all over the world, with their spouses - but they made some sort of law to stop that. think about it: how many pens, pencils, kleenex boxes, clocks, sticky notes etc does your doctor have in his/her office that are marked with whatever drug name???? doctors offices save a boatload of money on office supplies! and lunches! the only good thing i can see about all that branding is that cool doctors will give you lots of samples. the sample rooms in these places........good lord. my .10...........carry on.
