Bup....interesting story timeline. As someone who was born just a month before the Allmans first jammed together as a group that March, I found all this stuff so differently. It's great to see how many people my age and much younger understand when I say that the best music era of all-time was 1967-1973.
But don't get me wrong, there is wonderful music being created today. As I sit here and listen to Ryan Adams and Emmylou Harris harmonize, you can't help but be reminded of the ultra talented Gram (another artist I was exposed to via the fans of the Allman Brothers Band...). Some Union Station up next on the jukebox here boss...I'm sure some DTB will find it's way into the stereo by tonight.
