Prayers for Pam, Nic, Karen and Lynn. Somehow, I've always found August to be a time when I've lost loved ones or people took sick. Whenever, it's never easy. I wish you all as much easiness as possible.
Re some previous posts about EC - I knew of him from Yardbird days, but only remotely - Jeff Beck was the standout for me. I was a major Cream and Blind Faith fan. I did NOT, however, buy Layla because of EC. For me, that was Duane's album and my reason for purchasing it as soon as it came out. I bought everything I could find that Duane played on so I had much of the Anthology material "back in the day" (love that phrase - it makes 36 years ago sound so much more palatable).
