I agree with what Rusty said. If Derek wasn't touring with Clapton’s band, I would not have plunked down $102.50 per to see him play a huge shed. I've half kidded with some friends about how this show brings me full circle, and I should "retire". I'm seeing Clapton, who, going back to my early youth; I would have to say is my all-time, longtime favorite. And Derek, who is my current favorite guitar player. Plus I get to see this show with my son, so that lends a certain special aspect to it for me as well. Don't think I'll retire though. Certainly not as long as the ABB will continue to tour. I just choose shows with a lot more discretion than I used to.
