TanDan, our American heritage goes back to about the same time. My first American ancestor, Henry Peirson (slight variation of the current spelling,) was one of the first English settlers in Southampton, Long Island. He came from England in 1639, Thomas Hooker got to America a few years before Henry did. Very cool.
