whoa...jack...you have an eye for beauty. thanks for opening the door to my "beautiful linnie" story, which, sadly, isn't as, uhhhhhhh, close-up as yours.
4th night of closing weekend, i'm in the BEST seat ever of 35 or so Beacon shows. sensory OVERLOAD. surrounded by groovers, confidantes, and love. over to my left, in the aisle, there's this model-thin, 22ish, tall, BEAUTIFUL woman, dancing as to put me to shame...15 years ago in my prime. oh MY. and after the show, she looks over and says hey, and great to see ya, and so on...and until about 2:30 AM, i thought it was someone else i'd been hanging around with that weekend, someone newly in love and in her 20's, and then, i looked up and said holy moly that ready-for-the-cover-of-vanity-fair vision of a tribe of leggy, smiling groover gals was...LINNIE!
