Well, been out of town since Friday and checked into the GB this morning upon my return. Wow!! Missed some lively discussion. Just to chime in my sentiments, I've been of the feeling that the ABB should play anything and everything....as an almost-local friend succinctly said it to me in Nashville over the 4th: anything the ABB plays is "ABB music" by definition (or something to that affect). I agree. While Gregg singing "Ramblin' Man" could easily be considered insulting (and funny as hell at the same time -- if you really think about and picture it in your head), I think the other "Dickey" songs are fair game. Gregg singing a bluesy version of "Mary Had A Little Lamb" would even be fine with me. Whatever...nothing like hanging out on the lawn of a summer-shed show, drinkin' a few barley sodas and listening to the ABB play live. Can't wait for ATL and the 'Ham  Are we gonna get a "Hot'Lanta" > "Maydell" show opener??
In other interesting or not-so-interesting news, I see Phish is getting back together for NYE and the rest of '03.
