Thanks to everyone for ordering the Derek Trucks Band DVD from Hittin' the Note! There were so many great comments made about "our" band during this process...and they are really jazzed about giving something back to their fan base that pre-ordered. I'm sure the volume of sales will raise a few eyebrows at Columbia and help them respect the buying power of this guestbook and the tremendous appeal of the dTb! WHoooo Hooooo! HTN had planned on announcing the winners today for the various prizes - the signed Gibson guitar, the beautiful Songlines drumhead painting by Yonrico Scott and the 5 slides played by Derek - but over the weekend our phone system got zapped by lightening. So we are trying to get back in touch with everyone that left messages on our voice mail saying they wanted to buy the DVD. That's fair, insn't it? Hopefully, by tomorrow, we will wrap this effort up and contact the winners using our repaired phone system (LOL). We also will be posting the winners here and in the forums. Thanks again gang - this was a GREAT kickoff effort for an incredible performance by the Derek Trucks Band! JNB
