I just got done reading the review of the Hartford show, and while it the author’s pen was dipped in acid I am not discouraged one bit. This summer’s concert attendance is down 26% nation wide. I am sure that there are a myriad of factors concerning this; the economy, the war, and the fact that for the first time since 1814 a foreign enemy has attacked the U.S. homeland. Perhaps this is a bit overreaching on my part, but I still feel that it is affecting all bands not just the ABB. I hope many folks from up north can get away and get down to Raleigh next weekend. Raleigh is one of those shows were the Brothers truly hit the top bell. Many of us down here in the Carolinas take strong pride in that fact and so do the Brothers.
