I would love to hear more bands playin´songs written by Dickey Betts (including ABB). The more Dickey songs we´ll get to hear the more fun we´ll have. Dickey is one of the greatest songwriters of our time IMHO - he really deserves to get more attention for his talent. A Dickey Betts tribute album is long overdue! Hey, just imagine Metallica coverin´Blue Sky! 😀 Or how about my favorite singer Van Morrison doin´Change My Way Of Livin´? I´m sure that would be a killer! On a serious note, if musicians cover a song they should at least show some respect for the composer. Dickey encouraged fans at his shows to support the ABB - It would be great to hear some similiar words from Gregg or Butch on Great Southern.
