Went to see Jaimoe's Jasssz Band in Atlanta last Sunday night. Had a great time hanging with the band, and just loved the band, Jaimoe is truly fantastic, a monster. The INIO Record company was out in full force, Paul Kelly, Barry Richman, Tomas Ramirez... (Tomas has a new album released last week with Oteil on half the album, jazz trio format....getting lots of airplay across the nation!!!) BUT - not a single go**ammned guest booker at the gig....very disappointed in the Atlanta contingent.
Anyway, good to read all the Jaimoe praise here, looking forward to a great spring of ABB related adventures!
