Hi All! Well I hoped you all enjoyed the shows in my sister hometown.Day 1 I was in great company with my sis+ husband gettin' my ticket signed(Gail, Bill, sowwy I missed both nights,) but meeting up with GBERs was great.Karen I did see you, but I was shrommaloomin! I saw a lot of faces(have photographic memory, but could not put name to face.)..ANYHOW, if the highlight was the MUSIC, then wheeling myself to the gaming floor and having a long talk with Gregg Allman about lots of things, but mostly his opening up about his father, and me about mine, then I felt I'd had a special hand hold mine through the greiving process.Gregg talked of Duane and I will leave that to us.Gregg did do something ,I'm not quite sure, he gave me his nickname in the band, said "say this and that to T.Kirk and I'll see you after tomorrow nights show", thinking he(Gregg) meant out at "our" table, well I guess it was an invite...ooops! well as I stated I was in no condition, even the border guy on my side said "go eat something, you look too pale, he was right, i was passing out from all the lack of nutrients you don't get in shrooms..day 2 after show, and much "mingling" otherwise I went to the buffet and was waiting for my neighbors when, I went down for the count and (this is embaressing) passed out in a pile of mussles and shrimp...lol, I got escorted to the floor where in a rediculus move won $$$ at roulette, the same table I met Gregg at, then went to return my chair, my friends/neighbors had raided the stash of goodies in the trunk, so I continued to pass out until casino security came along and said"just lean back, it looks better that way!" Needels to say the Avalon Ballroom is the hottest venue around, both acoustically, seating was great, waitresses were really great(SANDI)and on my second night I got to eat a peach in Canada, Oh Canada BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
