Hey Peachheads! Quick update since quite a few of you have been asking: After a string of things not going ideally I am being made to lose another 13 lbs. I started at 252; I made acceptable body fat (20%) at 242; now they're saying I have to meet the standard for my height & wrist in the personel manual which is 217. I weighed my self on two different scales Monday, one of which was at the recrutier's office, & I was at 230. So 13 more lbs to go! I am actually thinking I can lose that by dehydrating the night before weigh-in, wrestler style. So that's my update for anyone who is still following my saga. Oh! And one more thing. Darcie has put me on this diet which I thought was totally crazy until the initial shcok wore off. 0 sugars, no milk, no soda- diet or regular, no flour Breakfast- oatmeal (no sweetener), 3 cups (measured) of regular coffee. 2 string cheese for morning snack Cottage cheese for lunch with pepper 2 string cheese for afternoon snack Large salad with grilled or broiled lean white fish, steak (flank), or white meat chicken breast on top w/ enova oil & red vinegar dressing, fill up with steamed broccoli or cauliflower. Coupled with 2 mile jog & at least 50 push ups & sit ups (I cut back for lack of energy from caloric deficit) per day. I lost 12 in the first week. For any dieters, you can supplement the jog for a brisk walk, and build up your ability to do push ups & sit ups by starting with what you can do. Within a month you will be able to do 25 or so of each without stopping, so long as you do them everyday. Thanks again for everyone encouraging me. This is the best I have felt in a long time!
