Again, you have to keep AI in perspective... It is what it is. Personally, I could just as much enjoy watching reruns of "In Concert" or early episodes of "Soul Train", but, since those shows are not around, I just watch AI while eating dinner in bed with Mara and Max (our Schnauzer son). Yeah, commercial TV sucks. Commercial music sucks. I agree with woody, and I would not pay to see AI on tour. BUT, I am going to support Taylor since he is "local music" (Brent, you hear what I am saying???). When Bo Bice made "Vehicle", I bought it for 4 bucks, listened to it once, laughed at the over-production, and threw it out of the car window. But I can say I supported the local music. You and I did not create AI, but, I would like to suggest that through AI by voting in someone like Taylor, we can perhaps in some way help to influence some future direction in american pop music. Think about that.
