Does anyone remember that Tom Petty was an underage kid sneaking into Allman Joys gigs in Jacksonville and idolizing a young Duane and Gregg Allman? Personally, I am about sick of the musical snobbery that goes on on this website. Anytime the Brothers are put on a bill with another band, everyone wants to jump up and hollar and complain! We KNOW Allman Brothers Band are musically superior to TP&THB. That doesn't mean TP&THB suck! The way I see it, it's a 2 for 1 deal. Two great bands, one venue, reasonably priced. I only WISH I could see this pairing. I don't care WHO plays first.
