I may get torched for this, but I think the shows opening for Tom Petty are a great idea. There's probably a great many TP fans out there that only have a modest knowledge of the ABB. They've heard the radio tunes and whatnot, but may have never heard what the Bros are really all about.
Boy, are they in for something....
Maybe they'll get 75 minutes or so (hopefully 90, but I wouldn't think so), so they get a chance to stretch out some. Who knows?
