Wow--what a night of music and friendship! The dTb was simply incredible last night at Starr Hill in Charlottesville! Talking with him before the gig, Kofi seemed itching to play with these guys again after their recent layoff. There were lots of smiles and laughs onstage as they pushed and prodded each other and tried new things. Yes, there was different equipment all around these men, but the music flowed out of them in such a joyful way! 😀
It was wonderful to spend the evening with Jen & Jim and Jeanne & John! I'm so grateful to HTW for helping me find such nice folks! I hope everyone made it home safely.
Now to make it through today after not much sleep... :hammer:
