Charlie, We're still trying to decide what the plan of attack is-the word is that only cars-NO pedestrians will be admitted under any circumstances, and every person in every vehicle MUST have a ticket, which means there are no drop-offs. There is so much conflicting information that it would behoove you to go to www.dead.net and check out the admission policies that will be in place at Alpine this weekend. They say it will be an orderly process, but I have my doubts. I think it will be a good idea to get an early start because it may be a fiasco. My buddy lives about 5 miles away, so we will be pre-partying (at 8 AM!) at his place. We have even considered riding bicycles as an option. I just hope the forecast in the 70s holds-if the temperature gets into the mid to upper 90s things could get real ugly real fast. It'll be an experience, that's for sure.
