Just got back from an awesome Beacon Weekend. Thanks to the Sweeties and the Left Coast Crew for their hospitality. Went to 3/17 and 3/18. I don't think anyone does it better right now. Opened with Les Bres in A Minor on Fri. I felt that I had gotten my money's worth by the end of the song. Taj Mahal and Ben Harper were excellent. Ben Harper played Lap Steel and was really enjoying himself (as was Taj Mahal).
Lefty Collins and his band played Les Bres In A Minor at the Left Coast party and nailed it. I saw Lefty with Devon and Pedro the week before at the HTN party. Good Stuff.
Hung out with Smilin' Jack all weekend. Saw many friends. And seeing GPM and Brofan is like going to church for me...good for the soul.
