Thanks to everyone for the reports from the Beacon. The band seems to be doing alot of different things and pulling out some different covers, very cool. Heres hoping they decide to "cover" some of their own older material (True Gravity, Bad Rain, Kind of Bird, Outskirts of Town, High Falls...) as well as hitting us w/ some new material...I know I am being greedy, but I can dream. Saw the Black Crowes at the Fox last night (hopefully it will hold me over till Wanee). Jimmy Herring came out to absolutely smoke a couple of tunes including Dreams (was wondering if the Allmans might be playing it in NY at the same time, apparently not). Hearing Dreams at the Fox is hopefully a pre cusor to another Fall ABB run...3 nights again would be awesome. The Crowes sounded pretty damn good last night, nice setlist for the home town crowd, it was a fun time. Take care, Ryan
