For those of you that don't venture over to the forum, some exciting news from Kirk West in regards to whether the ABB get together to rehearse before the Beacon: howdy kids the boys this year got together in chelsea on the west side of manhatten for 5 days of rehearsal. workin up new songs and refreshin on the old ones. these guys all spend more time playin other songs more than they do abb material so it pays to get in there and tighten up the changes and harmonies some. this year they've got a whole batch of new stuff that will debut as the beacon run unfolds. they put in about 6 hours a day at the rehearsal studio each evening. theres gonna be a large number of guests this year and some things that will really turn folks on im sure. dont dispare if you are with out a ticket. be determined, be early and be careful, dont buy from sketchey characters on the street. there will be a few tix put back up everyday to try to diminsh the scalpers. not many, but some, and mostly very good ones. check the ticketmaster site or the box office each day afternoons are best. also be very careful on the streets around the beacon. the police are very good at looking like ny city stoners and are on the prowl lookin for groovers that are being too groovey out on the streets. wait till ya get inside the friendly confines and the lights dim and the band starts cookin. thats when ya'all are safe at home. thats all boys and girls come on up to the upper west side to 75th and broadway its spring time in new york and the brothers are back in town
